How my journey began

Briana Bishop, MA, NCC, LPCC

Briana has always felt called to help others. After graduating with a bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation, she began to work in residential treatment facilities for individuals with behavioral issues as well as intellectual disabilities. She loved helping individuals learn how to communicate, advocate for themselves, and learn to be independent. It was after a decade of this work where she realized she truly loved helping the families of these individuals and her employees learn how they can improve their lives as well and this led her to the field of counseling. After completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in December 2021, Briana founded “Rooted in Truth Therapy, LLC” in Spring 2022.
